The family traces its viticultural origins back to 1723. They own 58 hectares of vineyards between Andosilla and San Adrián (Navarre municipalities in Rioja), on the banks of the Ega and Ebro rivers, with a Mediterranean continental climate. Cold winds from the Urbasa mountain range are tempered by the proximity to the rivers. Certified as an organic winery, Bagordi produces its wines without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
