Bodegas Las Orcas is a small, family-owned winery located in the town of Laguardia, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Founded by Cristina and Raimundo in 1994, the winery is now led by their eldest daughter, Lucía Abando — the sixth generation of the family dedicated to viticulture and winemaking. After completing her studies in agricultural engineering and oenology, Lucía took on the role of technical director.

The  Abando-San Pedro family cultivates 10 hectares of estate-owned vineyards and oversees an additional 12 hectares, all situated in Laguardia. Their project seamlessly blends tradition with innovation, supported by modern facilities designed to craft wines with a distinctive and authentic character.
