Bodegas Paco García, located in Murillo de Río Leza, has built its identity around a clear philosophy: expressing Rioja through its origins. The project began in 2001 with the founding of Heredad Garablo by Paco García and Julia Pablo, and entered a new chapter in 2008 when their son, Juan Bautista García, took over alongside Ana Fernández Bengoa. Since then, the winery has evolved steadily, deepening its understanding of its vineyards and strengthening a winemaking approach rooted in respect for the land. Today, it practices organic viticulture and produces everything from village wines to single-vineyard and Viñedo Singular wines, including gems such as Mirón del Humilladero, sourced from the oldest officially recognised Viñedo Singular in Rioja DOCa, planted in 1880. Rather than following trends, Bodegas Paco García has forged its own distinctive style: wines with identity, balance, and a strong gastronomic character that express the unique personality of the Leza Valley and a contemporary vision of Rioja, always with the vineyard at its heart.
